We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for an
outpatient clinic in eastern Texas. Will
consider an experienced provider or new graduate. Other providers on site.
Schedule will be 9a – 5p, M-F. 1 in 4 Saturdays for ½ day. Call will be 1 in 4.
Anticipated patient volume will be 20 ppd. EMR. Salary will be $70-95k with a comprehensive
benefit package including 5 wks vacation, malpractice, health insurance and 1 wk
paid CME. Relocation assistance. Additionally: This position offers guaranteed
Federal Loan Repayment Assistance
with a high HPSA score (requires 2

Single hospital physician-owned group of one MD and four PAs has an

traumatic brain injury (TBI). Rank, tenure and salary are commensurate

This position will be a primary appointment located in the Health
Systems, Risk and Contingency Department along with appointment in the
Center for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine (CNRM). The CNRM is a
collaborative intramural federal program involving USUHS and the
National Institutes of Health developed to bring together the expertise
of clinicians and scientists across disciplines to catalyze innovative
approaches to TBI research.
Qualifications
The qualified candidate is a professional nurse, doctorally prepared in
nursing or a relevant health related specialty area. Those candidates
with a background in the military and/or federal health care system are
preferred.
This faculty member will primarily serve as doctoral faculty and also
support MSN program options. Doctoral level teaching experience is
required. Responsibilities include developing and teaching nursing
science and research courses, advising students in dissertation, thesis
and scholarly project development, evaluating student progress in
research courses and dissertation/thesis work, and for assisting
faculty in writing research grants, evaluating data, and preparing
research for publication. Ideally the best candidate will have an
established program of research with extramural funding. Candidates
will have extensive research interactions as faculty members
of the Center for Neuroscience and Regenerative Medicine.
