Qualifications:
Certification. The nurse practitioner must have an approved and current Nurse Practitioner's license/certificate with the National Registry of Nurse Practitioners.

Experience. The Women's Health Nurse Practitioner shall have a minimum of 24 months within the past 36 months. A women's health nurse must have experience in direct patient care, education, administration, and/or research. He or she must have graduated from an OB/GYN nurse practitioner program (1-year program that is accepted by the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties).
