Our client is currently seeking Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant must be able to: work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment in meeting continual deadlines; handle multiple priorities with constant interruptions; be highly organized to meet deadlines. Interacts with the medical staff, office staff, patients and family members, and outside contacts.  Excellent written, verbal and personal communication skills, be tactful and diplomatic, and be highly confidential. Makes decisions regarding daily work priorities and other decisions based on practice policies and procedures.

Duties will include:
*Consultations, history and physicals, assisting with venous procedures, post procedure exams Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic test to identify and assess the patient’s problems and health care needs. Records 
*Physical findings, formulates a plan and prognosis, based on the patient’s condition. 
*Collaboration with a physician and other health care professionals to prepare comprehensive care plan for achieving optimal patient care and satisfaction. 
*Prescribe medications or other forms of treatment to attain therapeutic goals. 
*Referral of patients to other care providers for consultation and specialty treatment when needed. 
*Demonstrates patterns of continued learning in order to ensure growth as a provider. 

Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: Degree from accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program 
Experience: Preferred but not mandatory 
Licensure: Must maintain current State licensure and Accreditation 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
Detail oriented, organized, ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment. 
Ability to consider individual needs in communication, assessment, and treatment of patients of all ages 
Cultural sensitivity appropriate to ethnically diverse patients and employees 
Ability to work as a team member

Texas – Emergency Medicine – Big Bucks $$$

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for an Emergency Medicine position in southern Texas. Will consider an experienced provider only. Other providers on site. Schedule will be M-Sunday, 8a – 8a, 10 – 24 hr. shifts/ mo. Light to moderate volume. No call, one in three weekends.
