The successful candidate will collaborate with an expanding team of
diabetologists who are providing novel and interdisciplinary treatment
to a growing population of diabetics in the New York City area

NP will be expected to develop an outpatient diabetes practice in parallel
with our diabetologists. Also, NP will be part of the inpatient diabetes
consultation team. In addition to routine inpatient diabetes consultation
and management, the diabetes team also assists with intensive insulin therapy
in the intensive care units. The NP will also help implement protocols
for diabetes care on the general medical wards educating both physicians
and nursing staff.
